The Seer
Hags have been in the Deep Wood since long before the trolls, so it is not known why they sacrifice an eye, perhaps it increases their power. The Seer spends much of her time staring into her crystal ball and can often be seen shuffling along ancient paths lost in her visions.
The Seer is a strange one even by hag standards, perhaps because she sees so much of the future through her ever present ball. Her life is always in the 'what might be' and never the present. Who knows how that effects a mind, even one as strong as a Hags.
If you come across her think twice before asking about her visions. Knowledge of the future is a double edged blade and perhaps just knowing your fate will change it.
The Seer tends to avoid other folk of the Deep Wood, perhaps because seeing their fate disturbs her. So do not be surprised if you see her disappearing into the trees as you approach. Remember she saw you coming!
